Trigon | Kleinfelder's
approach to providing Construction Materials Testing and Special
Inspection Services is driven by our client’s needs. Our
client-oriented system includes assisting the construction team
in making decisions that are cost-effective, scheduling to meet
ever-shrinking timetables and efficient project management that
will satisfy each client’s project requirements. Our engineering
technicians are trained to provide documentation of construction
materials and to monitor workmanship and material conformance
to project specifications.
|
|
Trigon | Kleinfelder
has serviced projects ranging from residential to large
high-rise office buildings; from lagoons to large earth
fill dams; and from city streets to interstate roadways.
Our involvement in projects assures conformance with strict
standards to verify the quality of the project.
The
new International Building Code has increased the requirements
for engineering observations, inspections and testing
of most buildings. Trigon | Kleinfelder's personnel participated
in the creation of the amendments to the IBC 2000 for
the state of North Carolina. We feel participating in
the process provides us with an advantage in understanding
and implementing the code requirements.
|
|
Trigon | Kleinfelder's
senior professional engineers are qualified to serve as Special
Inspectors, including performing structural observations in the
field. Likewise, our inspection agents have experience observing
the construction of foundations and framing systems in significant
structures. We have engineering interns and senior level technicians
with ICC Special Inspector certifications. These certifications
include structural masonry, fireproofing, reinforced concrete, prestressed
concrete, and structural steel and welding. Trigon | Kleinfelder's engineering
technicians have certifications by ACI, NICET, and SCDOT or NCDOT.
In many cases, our technicians have multiple certifications. Each
of our laboratories is inspected by AMRL and CCRL and is accredited
by AASHTO.
